Overview
Senior Care Assistant role at HC-One. The position focuses on delivering compassionate, person-centered care across dementia, nursing, residential and specialist care settings. You will contribute to a supportive environment where residents are treated with dignity and kindness.
Responsibilities
* Plan and implement care that gives residents a real sense of security, dignity and independence.
* Get to know residents and their families to deliver truly personalised care plans.
* Lead a team of Care Assistants and maintain the highest standards of care; influence other team members through your example.
* Assist the Registered Nurse and Care Manager; provide physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities; administer medication as required.
* Maintain accurate records of the care you provide and build strong relationships with the team.
Qualifications
* Ideally, Level 2 Diploma in Adult Social Care (S/NVQ) with willingness to work towards Level 3 or equivalent; background in person-centred care planning and knowledge of caring for people with dementia.
* Strong record-keeping, time management and communication skills; ability to interact with residents and colleagues with kindness and respect.
* Positive energy and natural ability to get along with people.
