Recruit4staff are representing a leading manufacturing & engineering business in their search for a Press Brake Setter/Operator to work in Haydock
Job Details:
1. Pay: £15.50 per hour
2. Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 07:30 to 15:30
3. Duration: Temp to Perm
Job Role: The Press Brake Setter/Operator will be responsible for setting and operating an AMADA CNC Press Brake, shaping and forming steel components of various thicknesses. The role includes interpreting engineering drawings, basic maintenance of machinery, and quality checking of finished materials. Occasional support to other departments may be required depending on production demands.
Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:
4. Previous experience setting and operating a press brake
5. Ability to read engineering drawings
6. Proven experience of metal fabrication work
Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications
7. NVQ/C&G in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent qualification
8. Ability to programme CNC press brakes

9. Some inter-departmental support may be required depending on manufacturing needs
