Are you a sports coach ready for your next challenge? We are recruiting energetic and motivated Teaching Assistants to support pupils in Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH) schools in Weston-super-Mare.
You’ll be working with students aged 5–16 who may experience:
Mental health needs
️ Communication difficulties
Emotional & behavioural challenges
♿ Physical disabilities

Your Role Will Include:
* Providing 1:1 or small group support in SEN/SEMH settings
* Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement
* Supporting learning and classroom activities
* Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils
* Working closely with teachers and support staff

Who We’re Looking For:
* A strong interest in education and youth development
* Confident communication and behaviour management skills
* A background in sports coaching (highly desirable)
* School-based experience is beneficial but not essential
* Empathy, resilience, and a proactive attitude
