Job Summary

Edgbaston Wellness Clinic is seeking a professional, friendly, and well-presented Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our clients, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming and positive experience. This role combines traditional reception duties with concierge-style service, including booking appointments, managing client enquiries, and processing payments. The ideal candidate will be proactive, highly organised, and able to deliver exceptional customer service in a busy and professional healthcare and wellness environment.

Duties

* Greet and welcome clients in a warm, professional, and personalised manner.
* Manage the booking of appointments, classes, and treatments using the clinic's scheduling system.
* Handle payments securely and accurately, including card, cash, and online transactions.
* Provide concierge-style support, assisting clients with enquiries about clinic services, memberships, and wellness packages.
* Answer and direct phone calls and emails promptly, maintaining excellent etiquette at all times.
* Manage the reception area, ensuring it is clean, tidy, and presentable.
* Perform data entry tasks accurately, maintaining up-to-date client records.
* Assist with clerical duties such as filing, scanning, and managing correspondence.
* Support clinic staff with diary management, scheduling, and client communications.
* Utilise Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and other clinic software systems for administrative tasks.
* Ensure confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive client information.

Skills

* Previous reception or front-of-house experience is essential, preferably in a healthcare, hospitality, or wellness setting.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and provide a personalised client experience.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace applications.
* Confident in using booking systems and handling client payments.
* Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with excellent attention to detail.
* Knowledge of financial processes and systems (e.g. QuickBooks) is an advantage but not essential.
* Professional appearance and demeanour, reflecting the high standards of the clinic.

Pay: £15,262.50-£29,252.96 per year
