Account Administrator- Charitable Sector- Belfast City Centre Reed Recruitment is delighted to be working in partnership with a leading NI not-for-profit organisation, keen to recruit an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their team This is an excellent opportunity to work within a dynamic and vibrant accountancy team, under the guidance of a supportive Finance Manager. The successful applicant will be offered a full time, permanent role, and the job duties are as follows: Process all purchase invoices through the automated purchase to pay system, ensuring invoices match with the relevant purchase orders. Transfer matched invoices to the Business Central accounting system under the correct G/L code. Liaise with other departments, suppliers, and customers to ensure smooth operations. Reconcile invoices to supplier statements and manage month-end procedures including supplier payment runs. Raise sales invoices, issue to customers, and manage credit control. Post bank and cash allocations and maintain accurate supplier and customer records. Assist in updating and maintaining the computerised financial records. Support income reconciliation and control checks, including cash and credit card transactions. Assist with banking and cash procedures, including maintaining cash books, bank reconciliation, and petty cash records. Provide administrative support including file management, photocopying, scanning, and document shredding. Produce and maintain Excel spreadsheets, and assist with Word processing and PowerPoint presentations. Support the finance team in ensuring office efficiency by answering phones, greeting visitors, and coordinating hospitality. Perform additional duties as requested by your Line Manager Required Skills & Qualifications: Minimum of 1 years' experience within the last three years in an administrative role in a financial environment, including use of an accounting software package. Proficient in Excel Spreadsheets and various financial software packages. Excellent organisational and communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills to develop close working relationships with both internal staff and external bodies. Ability to work accurately under pressure to meet deadlines. Team player with a flexible approach to work, including the willingness to work occasional evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
