Overview
The post holder will have professional responsibility for a defined population/caseload and lead the delivery & organisation of the public health programme. Candidates must hold a SCPHN degree or equivalent in School Nursing with current NMC registration. SCPHN students who will qualify shortly may apply.
Responsibilities
The post holder will have professional responsibility for a defined population/caseload and lead the delivery & organisation of the public health program. Delivering the nursing component of the school health program to a school age population within a defined number of schools.
Based within the community setting, the practitioner is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care offered to families and external organisations, with particular attention to safeguarding children.
They will be responsible for coordinating and delegating work within a skill mix team.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
