About the Role

As a Community Paramedic, you will:

* Visit patients in their homes as part of the practice’s clinical visiting service.
* Provide urgent and same-day care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
* Support the wider practice team in delivering safe, responsive, and patient-centred care.
* Work alongside GPs, nurses, and other clinicians to improve access to care and reduce unnecessary hospital admissions.

What We Offer

* Competitive salary reflective of experience and qualifications.
* Supportive, collaborative team environment.
* Opportunities for clinical development within primary and urgent care.

* Passionate about providing compassionate, high-quality, patient-centred care.

Key Responsibilities

* Conduct same-day consultations and home visits for patients requiring urgent attention.
* Manage and treat patients safely within your professional scope of practice.
* Liaise with GPs, practice nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
* Participate in case discussions, clinical audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
* Support the practice in ongoing service development and innovation.

Typical working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 6:30pm, with occasional flexibility for meetings or training sessions outside of these hours.

The Practice

This post is based within a forward-thinking GP practice committed to providing accessible, high-quality healthcare for its local community. The practice promotes:

* Innovative approaches to delivering care in the community.
* A strong focus on teamwork, education, and professional development.
* A supportive and inclusive working environment.

We are committed to equality, diversity, and inclusion in employment and service delivery. We encourage applications from individuals of all backgrounds and will make reasonable adjustments to support applicants with disabilities.

Professional Development

The successful candidate will:

* Participate in annual appraisals and continuous professional development (CPD).
* Undertake relevant training and clinical supervision opportunities.
* Maintain and enhance professional knowledge in line with HCPC standards.

Person Specification

* Access to a vehicle with valid driving licence and business insurance.
