This is a rare opportunity to step into a highly influential leadership role within a well-established geotechnical services business, taking full responsibility for the management, development, and success of the Ground Investigation operation across Scotland.
The company is a recognised name in geotechnical services, delivering complex investigation and ground engineering projects across the UK. With continued investment, strong leadership, and a robust project pipeline, they offer long term stability alongside genuine scope to shape and grow a high performing regional team.
In this role, you will take full ownership of regional strategy, financial performance, operational delivery, and team development. You will work closely with senior leadership to drive continuous improvement, commercial performance, and sustainable growth across the region.
This role would suit a highly experienced Ground Investigation or Geotechnical leader looking to step into a senior regional position, offering autonomy, strategic influence, and long-term career security within a respected national business.
The Role
Full responsibility for the management, performance, and development of the Ground Investigation operation across Scotland
Development and execution of regional strategy, budgets, forecasting, and commercial performance plans
Leadership responsibility for operational delivery, safety, quality, and team performance
Working closely with stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and regional growth
Office hours 08:45 to 17:15 Monday to Friday, with flexibility to attend sites and other offices as required

Management experience within Ground Investigation or Geotechnical contracting
Strong leadership background managing teams, budgets, and regional operational performanc
Proven track record delivering safe, profitable, and high-quality GI or geotechnical projects
