Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon – Swindon, Wiltshire Salary: £50,000 – £75,000 (DOE) | Flexible Working | No OOH An established, forward-thinking independent small animal practice in Swindon is seeking a passionate and motivated Veterinary Surgeon to join its growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a vet with some experience who is looking to develop their clinical skills in a supportive, well-equipped environment while maintaining an excellent work-life balance. The Role The successful candidate will be confident in routine surgery and emergency cases, capable of managing their own caseload, and enthusiastic about continuous professional development. They will thrive both independently and as part of a collaborative team. Full-time: 4-day week (35 hours) Fixed day off each week 1 in 4 Saturday rota (finishing at 4pm) No Sundays No out-of-hours or inpatient on-call (outsourced locally) No sole charge Dedicated nursing support is provided on every shift, ensuring assistance with patient handling, note-taking, and medication administration. Real-time client updates on hospitalised patients reduce administrative pressures and enhance client satisfaction.
