Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Gas Engineer / Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for kitchen and bathroom refurbishment works for council properties.
Works to be included would be:
Kitchens - Carry out 1st fix pipework and alter any radiator positions and cooker points if needed, and also give the relevant gas CP12 from our gas software.
Fit kitchen sink after carpentry is completed also.
Bathrooms and Cloakrooms - Remove and install bath toilet and basins in like for like position and with standard council spec items.
Responsibilities
* Install bathrooms, downstairs cloakrooms, and an array of plumbing items within council housing.
-Conduct safety checks on gas equipment to ensure compliance with regulations
- Diagnose and rectify gas-related issues efficiently
- Provide excellent customer service and advice on gas safety
- Complete necessary paperwork accurately and promptly
Experience
- Social housing work experience is preferred, to understand the way the program of works follows.
- Knowledge of plumbing systems and mechanical components
- Ability to lift heavy objects when required such as the bath up and down the stairs.
- or carpentry is advantageous
- Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations
- Commercial driving license is desirable for transportation of equipment
- Capability to assemble components accurately

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £220.00 per day
