This role is a pinnacle point to ensuring the smooth running of the Finance department, reporting into the Financial Controller.
You must have your own transport as the location has no public transport routes nearby.
Responsibilities: Bank and ledgers Reconciliations Weekly cash forecasts Accruals, prepayments and monthly recharges Preparation of monthly management accounts and forecasting to year end Balance Sheet reconciliation and reviews Cost analysis for department managers Preparation of VAT returns Maintain stock records (livestock and feed) Prepare and maintain Fixed Asset Registers Assist with preparation of budgets and forecasting Preparation of year-end accounts Ad hoc responsibilities such as some sales and purchase ledger duties Requirements/Experience: AAT or part Qualified although QBE will also be accepted Experience of production of management accounts (essential) Advance MS Excel skills (essential) Knowledge of Sage 50 accounts and payroll VAT experience Proactive and organised with an ability to prioritise workload (essential) Strong attention to detail They are looking for someone with the right mixture of general accounts experience and technical ability; although personality and team fit will be equally as important.
