About the Role
WRK digital are proud to partner with a leading agile consultancy delivering high-impact projects in the tech-for-good space who are rolling out co-pilot on an enterprise scale.
We are seeking an experienced Co-Pilot Engineer to join the team on an inside IR35 contract. This role will focus on supporting system operations, optimisation, and performance monitoring across critical projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist the Lead Engineer in operating, monitoring, and optimising system performance.
* Support system design, integration, and validation activities.
* Monitor system parameters and identify anomalies or risks.
* Conduct simulations, testing, and troubleshooting activities.
* Assist in developing operating procedures, checklists, and documentation.
* Analyse performance data and provide recommendations for improvement.
* Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
* Collaborate with software, hardware, and operations teams.
* Participate in incident reviews, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
* Provide real-time technical support during operations or testing phases.
Required Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in co-pilot engineering & support roles within complex technical environments.
* Strong understanding of system monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimisation.
* Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
* Experience in cloud-based systems or large-scale infrastructure projects.
* Familiarity with automation tools and scripting.
* Knowledge of compliance and safety standards in technical operations.
