Senior Planner, SP Energy Networks
Location: Fullarton Drive, Glasgow East Investment Park, Cambuslang. Salary up to £55,000 per year (dependent on experience). Permanent, 37hour week, office / site 3 days a week.
Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain project schedules for SPTransmission Core Projects.
* Resolve project scoping and specific issues through interface with project team members.
* Ensure Environmental & Planning, Engineering Design and System Access requirements are incorporated into the schedule.
* Update schedules monthly, analyse departmental and contractor schedules and advise the team on suitability and required actions.
* Attend meetings, provide planning advice, reports, KPIs and programme views to aid decision‑making.
* Support the Quality Management System and contribute to process improvements.
Qualifications
* HNC level in an Engineering/Mathematics discipline or equivalent experience in scheduling, programming or planning.
* Proficiency with PrimaveraP6 and MSProject.
* Experience with engineering specifications and documentation for electricity supply infrastructure (substations, overhead lines, cables).
* Strong verbal and written communication, report‑writing and MSOffice skills.
* Knowledge of quality assurance processes is beneficial.
