At this vibrant school, they are seeking a committed SEN Teacher to support pupils with a range of additional needs, ensuring they thrive both academically and emotionally. This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with children who need tailored approaches to learning in a nurturing and supportive environment. Beginning September 2025.

Duties as a SEN Teacher:

* Deliver high-quality, personalised teaching to pupils with SEND (including EHCPs and those with additional learning needs)

* Plan, assess and adapt learning to meet individual education and behavioural targets

* Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom that promotes independence and confidence

* Work collaboratively with the SENCO, support staff, external agencies, and families

* Monitor and report on progress, maintaining accurate and detailed records

* Contribute to annual reviews, IEPs and multi-agency meetings as required

* Promote emotional well-being and a positive attitude towards learning

Ideal SEN Teacher:

* Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

* Has experience or a strong interest in working with children with SEND

* Understands the graduated approach to SEN support

* Uses creative and flexible teaching strategies to engage diverse learners

* Demonstrates strong communication, empathy and teamwork skills as a SEN Teacher.

* Is calm, resilient and passionate about making a difference
