Teaching Assistant - Hounslow

The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside teachers and the wider support staff to help students succeed in the classroom. You will support learning activities, help maintain a positive classroom atmosphere, and provide additional support to students who may need extra guidance with their work.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supporting teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons
* Working with small groups and individual students to reinforce learning
* Assisting with classroom behaviour management and promoting a positive learning environment
* Supporting students with a range of learning needs, including those requiring additional support
* Helping to prepare classroom materials and resources
* Encouraging student engagement, confidence and independence in learning
Requirements:
* Previous UK-based secondary school experience is essential and candidates without this will not be considered
* Experience supporting young people in a classroom environment
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* A proactive, patient and supportive attitude
* A genuine passion for supporting students' education and development
