The Opportunity
You'll join an innovative and engineering‑led environment delivering secure, scalable, and sustainable data centre and digital infrastructure solutions. As FP&A Manager, you'll help define financial strategy, strengthen planning processes, and influence high‑value investment decisions.
What You'll Be Doing
Financial Planning & Analysis
1. Lead budgets, long‑range plans, and rolling forecasts
2. Build and enhance financial models to support strategic and investment decisions
3. Conduct in‑depth variance and performance analysis
Management Reporting
4. Produce accurate monthly/quarterly reporting with insightful commentary
5. Identify performance risks, trends, and opportunities
Capital Expenditure & Investment Reporting
6. Support oversight of £100m+ annual capex programmes
7. Monitor project spend and alignment with budgets and investor expectations
8. Manage reporting related to project financing and loan covenants
Business Partnering & Finance Enablement
9. Partner with technical, operational, and commercial teams
10. Drive process improvements, strengthen systems (e.g., NetSuite), and enhance automation
11. Support the development of scalable finance processes
Team Development
12. Mentor junior members as the function expands
What We're Looking For
Experience & Qualifications
13. Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA)
14. 3-5 years' experience in FP&A or commercial finance
15. Strong financial modelling and Excel capability
16. ERP experience (NetSuite or SAP preferred)
17. Evidence of improving processes and delivering actionable insights
Industry Background
18. Ideal: data centres, infrastructure, energy, telecoms, engineering, or other capex‑heavy environments
19. Open to strong FP&A talent from project‑based, capital‑intensive industries
Attributes
20. Highly analytical with strong attention to detail
21. Excellent communication skills, able to simplify complex financial information
22. Comfortable operating both strategically and hands‑on in a scaling environment
