The successful candidate will be responsible for the company's financial strategy, planning and operations while providing a comprehensive view of the financial health of the business. Key responsibilities will include:
Financial Strategy & Leadership :
* Develop and execute the company's financial strategy in alignment with business goals.
* Provide strategic financial guidance to the CEO and executive leadership team.
* Drive business performance through financial metrics and key performance indicators.
* Lead the financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning for both the parent company and overseas subsidiaries.
Financial Management :
* Oversee the preparation and management of the company's financial reports, including monthly and annual financial statements, balance sheets, and P&L statements.
* Monitor financial performance across departments and subsidiaries, ensuring financial health and profitability.
* Implement robust financial control systems to ensure accuracy and compliance with international accounting standards.
* Manage working capital, cash flow, and capital expenditures.
International Finance Oversight :
* Lead and manage the financial operations of overseas subsidiaries, ensuring alignment with company policies and practices.
* Oversee the consolidation of international financial reports and manage currency risk and tax compliance.
* Build and maintain relationships with key international stakeholders, including external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies.
Risk Management and Compliance :
* Identify financial and operational risks and develop mitigation strategies.
* Ensure adherence to international tax, legal, and regulatory requirements, particularly in different countries where subsidiaries operate.
* Oversee audits, both internal and external, and liaise with auditors to ensure compliance with all regulatory frameworks.
Financial Reporting and Analysis :
* Lead the preparation and analysis of regular financial reports for stakeholders, including board members and investors.
* Conduct detailed financial analysis, cost control, and margin optimisation initiatives.
* Recommend actions based on financial data, trends, and market conditions.
Team Management & Development :
* Lead and mentor the finance team, providing direction, support, and opportunities for professional development.
* Build a high-performing finance team capable of managing the company's financial operations, reporting, and planning processes.
