Secondary School Teaching Assistant

Pay: £90–£115 per day (depending on experience)
Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a thriving secondary school that is seeking a committed Teaching Assistant to join their supportive and dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about education and keen to make a positive impact on students aged 11–16.
Key Responsibilities:
Support students across a range of subjects in class and during small group interventions
Assist teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
Provide 1:1 support for students with additional learning needs
Help manage classroom behaviour and encourage a positive learning environment
Contribute to the overall wellbeing and progress of the students
What we’re looking for:
Experience working with children or young people, ideally in a school setting
A proactive, patient and enthusiastic approach to learning support
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A desire to pursue a career in education
A valid DBS certificate on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
