About the role
The Bookkeeper will manage day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across payments, invoicing, and reporting. This includes supporting young partner payments, maintaining financial records, and assisting with payroll and reconciliations.
This role can be undertaken remotely but applicants must be UK-based in order to be considered.
Key Responsibilities
Finance Operations
* Manage supplier payments, expenses, and BACS runs
* Raise invoices, track payments, and reconcile bank transactions
* Record donations and grant income; maintain the grants register
* Support reconciliations, audit preparation, and payroll data checks
* Assist with payments for Young Partners
* Conducting fraud check process
Systems & Reporting
* Maintain accurate records in QuickBooks (or similar)
* Support production of management reports and financial summaries
* Work closely with the Finance & Operations team (Interim Director of Operations, Treasurer and Accountant) to streamline processes
