What we’re looking for Experience supporting children in a primary school or similar educational environment. A patient, positive, and empathetic manner, with a genuine passion for children’s learning and wellbeing. Strong communication skills and the confidence to build warm, trusting relationships with pupils and colleagues. Flexibility and adaptability to meet a range of learning needs and classroom situations. A proactive, reliable attitude and a desire to make a difference every day. A relevant Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (advantageous but not essential). Your role Provide effective 1:1 and small group support for pupils with additional or special educational needs. Work closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging, inclusive learning experiences. Assist with preparing resources and maintaining a positive, stimulating classroom environment. Promote confidence, independence, and positive behaviour among all learners. Contribute to a nurturing school community where every child feels valued and supported.
