The successful Religious Education Teacher will inspire students in Key Stages 3 and 4 to explore different faiths, beliefs, and ethical perspectives.
Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging and effective Religious Education Teacher lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
* Prepare students for GCSE Religious Studies examinations.
* Develop students' knowledge and understanding of different religions and ethical systems.
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback as a Religious Education Teacher.
* Contribute to the development of the RE curriculum and resources.
* Encourage respectful discussion and critical thinking about religious and ethical issues.
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Religious Education or Theology.
* Proven experience teaching Religious Education at the secondary level (Key Stages 3 & 4).
* Strong and comprehensive knowledge of different world religions and ethical frameworks.
* Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
* Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities in RE.
