Are you an experienced professional ready to make a significant impact in the education sector? Our client is seeking a School Business Manager (SBM) to ensure the smooth operation of their school on a part-time, temporary basis.
🗓️ Contract Type: Temporary- May have opportunity to go permanent
⏰ Working Days: Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, 8 AM - 4:30 PM
Key Responsibilities:
🔹 Strategic Leadership & Management
Collaborate closely with the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team.
Contribute to strategic planning and align financial planning with school development.
Advise governors on financial and operational matters.
Prepare budgets and financial reports.
Monitor income and expenditure while ensuring regulatory compliance.
Seek additional funding opportunities.
Oversee recruitment and performance management of non-teaching staff.
Handle HR administration and ensure compliance with employment law.
Manage school site maintenance and health & safety policies.
Manage school information systems and ensure GDPR compliance.
What We're Looking For:
Strong background in strategic leadership, financial management, and HR.
Ideally experience within a School Business management or Bursar role.
