The Role
As a Functional Assessor, you will play a vital role in assessing how individuals' disabilities or conditions impact their work life. Your clinical expertise will shine as you:
* Conduct thorough assessments by listening to each person's medical history.
* Perform physical examinations and create concise, accurate reports for the Department of Work & Pensions (DWP).
* Engage with individuals both face-to-face and via telephone/video, ensuring a compassionate and sensitive approach.
You’ll have the time you need to make precise assessments, and while you’ll work independently, you’ll be part of a supportive multi-disciplinary team.

About You
* NMC Level 1 Registered Adult Nurse with a minimum of 12 months broad-based clinical post-registration experience within the past 5 years.
* Experience working with adults in various clinical settings, such as Surgical, Medical, A & E, Community, and Practice Nursing.
* NMC-registered with Continuous Professional Development on your CV.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills, adaptable to a rapidly changing environment.
* Proficient IT skills and experience with various software.
* Self-aware and focused on professional development.
* Honest, maintaining integrity and customer confidentiality.
* Motivated to deliver quality customer service with empathy and respect.
* Able to work independently to meet deadlines and standards.
* Ready to be a reliable team member, supporting the multi-disciplinary team.
* Eligible to work in the UK (sponsorship is not available).
