Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager for a challenging and dynamic role within our busy engineering enterprise. The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning and execution of substantial projects, primarily within the food processing and water treatment industries, ensuring projects are delivered punctually and within budget parameters.

Key Responsibilities
Essential Requirements:
* Demonstrate robust project management capabilities.
* Possess excellent articulation and communication skills.
* Manage clients' technical and scheduling requirements through Technical Data sheets, General Arrangement drawings, and component specifications.
* Ensure specified projects fulfil engineering requirements to agreed standards and specifications.
* Secure optimal pricing for materials and equipment procurement.
* Liaise with the Managing Director and Works Foreman to ensure internal delivery requirements are met.
* Maintain and develop client relationships effectively.
* Implement and support continuous improvement initiatives, incorporating lessons learnt following project completion.
* Attend internal and external project initiation meetings with clients.
* Interpret project requirements and specifications comprehensively.
* Complete comprehensive reporting and specification documentation.
* Deliver projects within budgetary and temporal constraints.
* Manage shop floor and site-based teams effectively.
* Assist in the preparation of contract documentation, specifications, and commercial estimates.
* Produce Risk Assessment and Method Statement (RAMS) documentation within agreed timeframes.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
* Proven project management experience with successful project completion, constraint tracking, and reporting capabilities, both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
* Ability to manage demanding workloads within a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
* Proficient working knowledge of AutoCAD software.
* Sound understanding of sheet metal development processes would be a distinct advantage.
* Strong IT proficiency across various software packages, including Microsoft Word, Project and Excel.
* Exceptional oral and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to work in close partnership with clients and end-users.
* Results-driven approach with capability to establish targets and manage and motivate multidisciplinary teams to achieve time, cost, and quality objectives.
* Minimum two years' experience as a project manager (or similar role), preferably within the food processing or water treatment industries.
* Full UK driving licence.
Reporting Structure
The role involves regular liaison with the Managing Director, and Works Foreman. Essential communication skills are required for effective interaction with office personnel and factory floor operatives.
