Helping patients select frames, measuring frames for correct fit, ordering glasses and contact lenses, frame adjustments, greeting and booking in patients for their appointments, booking appointments for patients, carrying out pre-screening tests, taking payments, answering the telephone, contact lens teaches, clinic preparation and filing records. We are looking for candidates to fill one vacancy. Please feel free to apply again, even if you have done so in the past.
1 position is available for 3 days per week (7.5 hours per day 9am-5pm to include every alternate saturday)
Good general education and basic IT skills required. Relevant experience as an optical assistant, customer service or retail background advantageous and may be a requirement.
Useful skills are good communication, able to work well in a team, enthusiastic, friendly, courteous, tactful and diplomatic.
