Join Zurich as our next Tech Delivery Manager for Corporate Life & Pensions (CLP) platforms. We’re seeking a dynamic, forward‑thinking leader to drive our technology team and play a key role in our global digital transformation. In this exciting position, you’ll collaborate with colleagues across Business Units and Global Digital Platforms, delivering innovative solutions that empower our underwriters and create value for our customers worldwide.
What will you be doing?
* Lead and inspire a team of technology specialists, supporting their growth and driving performance.
* Plan and deliver new capabilities, while continuously enhancing and maintaining our CLP solutions.
* Apply your expertise in React, .NET, MS SQL, Azure DevOps, and Rest APIs to guide robust, scalable development.
* Work in an agile environment, taking a hands‑on approach to improve CLP platforms for our expanding business needs.
* Engage with Zurich stakeholders, building strong relationships and providing technical leadership for platform design and development.
* Oversee IT project delivery and ensure all requirements are met, including disaster recovery planning and service restoration.
* Monitor and report on service performance, ensuring Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met and addressing any gaps.
* Champion compliance with IT governance, internal controls, and regulatory standards.
* Manage suppliers involved in the development and maintenance of CLP platforms.
* Develop technology roadmaps to maintain and upgrade hardware/software and reduce operational risks.
* Continuously improve agile practices within your team and across the wider Zurich community.
* Support audits and ensure operational readiness for projects and releases.
What are we looking for?
* Significant experience in Application Design and Development.
* Hands‑on experience managing programs/projects and providing ongoing operational support.
* Practical delivery experience with .NET technology and Agile methodologies.
* Proficiency in React, .NET, SQL, Azure DevOps, and Rest APIs.
* Knowledge of Databricks, model serving, Mulesoft, and integrated platform delivery.
* People and vendor management experience.
* Experience collaborating across countries and cultures, ideally within Zurich or the wider insurance/finance sector.
* Strong communication skills—both written and verbal.
* Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
