About the job
We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Accountant to join our growing Finance team. You will play a key role in maintaining financial records, ensuring compliance with local and international accounting standards, and supporting financial reporting across Kvadrat's global operations.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Maintain accurate general ledger entries and reconcile monthly accounts
* Prepare management reports and financial statements
* Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
* Responsible for month-end and year-end closing activities
* Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and financial regulations
* Liaise with auditors and assist with audit preparation
* Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
* Collaborate with internal teams to support process improvements and cost efficiencies
What We're Looking For
* Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
* 2+ years of experience in a similar role
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles (IFRS/local GAAP)
* Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Dynamics 365, or similar ERP systems)
* Excellent Excel and analytical skills
* Strong attention to detail and a structured work style
* Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
* A collaborative mindset and ability to thrive in a dynamic, global environment
