We are currently recruiting for a Bank Chef with previous experience working in a catering, kitchen, or hospitality environment who can cover flexible ad hoc shifts as needed for annual leave, sickness, training, etc., at Cygnet Hospital Ealing.
Main duties of the job

Job responsibilities
* Prepare, cook, and serve nutritious, balanced, and appetising meals.
* Liaise with nursing colleagues to meet patients' nutritional and dietary needs.
* Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, service areas, and dining room.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and Food Hygiene Regulations.
* Handle, maintain, and store kitchen equipment according to Cygnet procedures.
* Use chemicals in line with COSHH regulations.

You are
* A skilled Chef/Cook who can work under pressure.
* Preferably experienced in the care sector.
* Able to plan nourishing and attractive menus within budgets.
* Holder of a food hygiene certificate, with good personal hygiene standards.
* Polite and professional, with a positive attitude towards internal and external guests.
* An excellent communicator able to liaise with people at all levels.
* Able to work independently, as part of a team, and under supervision.
* Qualified in catering to City & Guilds 706:1 & 2 level or NVQ Level 2/3.
Successful candidates will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
