You will be responsible for creating delicious meals, ensuring food safety standards are met, and leading kitchen operations to deliver an exceptional dining experience.
Duties
* Prepare and cook high-quality meals in accordance with established recipes and standards.
* Oversee kitchen operations, including meal preparation, cooking, and presentation.
* Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are strictly adhered to within the kitchen.
* Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
* Manage inventory and order supplies as needed to maintain kitchen efficiency.
* Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area at all times.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Chef or Cook in a restaurant / pub environment.
* knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills.
* Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices.
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
* Strong communication skills to effectively lead a team and collaborate with others.
* A passion for cooking and creating memorable dining experiences for guests.
