The Role
This is a field-based Business Development role focused on managing and growing key accounts across the North of England.
You’ll drive revenue by developing existing relationships, identifying new opportunities within major multi-site customers, and delivering tailored, solution-led propositions.
* 4 days per week client-facing in the field
* 1 day per week home-based for planning and administration
Key Responsibilities
* Grow and develop key accounts across hospitality, public sector, and institutional clients
* Identify and convert new revenue opportunities within existing customer bases
* Build strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders
* Deliver consultative, solution-led sales approaches
* Lead commercial discussions, negotiations, and account strategy
* Maintain a consistent presence with clients through regular site visits
About You
* Proven track record as a Business Development Manager or similar role
* Experience managing and growing major or multi-site accounts
* Background selling into hospitality groups, NHS, local authorities, or universities
* Open to candidates from both food and non-food sectors
* Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills
* Highly motivated, customer-facing, and comfortable in a field-based role
