Data is a vital asset to any organisation. The trust recognises the importance of robust data collection and reporting in meaningful ways, compiling complex data sets. The trust uses various systems for data collection, which will be reviewed to align with the trust’s vision and strategy to harmonise systems, ensuring ease of use, fit for purpose, and standardised reporting.
The data compliance officer will oversee data systems across the trust, ensuring data governance and legal compliance, and support users with access and daily usage advice. The primary focus will be on young people data systems and other monitoring and tracking systems. The role also supports other departments such as human resources and finance.
This role ensures excellent data governance, legal compliance, and harnesses data insights to improve academy performance and support positive outcomes for all young people.
The role requires in-depth knowledge of data related to young people with special educational needs and disabilities, including accurate recording of health and medical information to support safe environments.
