Overview
We are seeking a talented and dedicated Sous Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong commitment to excellence in the kitchen. As a Sous Chef, you will play a vital role in assisting the Head Chef with daily kitchen operations, ensuring that our dishes are prepared to the highest standards while maintaining a positive and productive work environment.
Duties
* Assist in managing kitchen staff and supervising food production to ensure quality and consistency.
* Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, ensuring adherence to recipes and presentation standards.
* Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout all kitchen operations.
* Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop new menu items and improve existing offerings.
* Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
* Ensure that all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and cleaned.
* Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
* Handle any customer inquiries or complaints regarding food quality or service.
