About the Role
We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic tutors to provide high-quality 1:1 tuition to students in the Wellingborough area. This role involves delivering personalised learning sessions to support children and young people who may be catching up on missed education, preparing for exams, or requiring additional support outside of mainstream school settings.
Tuition may take place in students’ homes, schools, or agreed community venues.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver tailored 1:1 tuition in English, Maths, or other subjects aligned with your specialism.
Plan engaging and structured lessons based on each learner’s individual needs and targets.
Support students preparing for SATs, GCSEs, or Functional Skills qualifications.
Monitor progress and adapt teaching strategies to maximise outcomes.
Provide clear feedback and maintain accurate session records.
Build positive relationships with students, parents, carers, and schools where appropriate.
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE, or proven tutoring/teaching experience.
Strong subject knowledge and ability to differentiate effectively.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Reliable, professional, and passionate about supporting young people.
Access to transport preferred due to travel between locations.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
