Sales Manager - Thistle Heathrow and Luton cluster, Full Time
Contract Type: Permanent, 39 hours per week
The Role
Key responsibilities include:
1. Understanding the hotel business mix, budget strategy, and supporting accordingly
2. Delivering the strategic business plan to achieve target revenue
3. Meeting weekly activity targets for leads, calls, and appointments
4. Collaborating with the M&E team to target new Meetings and Events business
5. Growing revenue through relationship building and understanding existing clients
6. Identifying additional revenue opportunities within client accounts
7. Monitoring competitors through site visits and reporting
8. Working with revenue teams to meet commercial targets
9. Finding innovative ways to generate new sales leads
10. Aligning rate plans and pricing with hotels
11. Using salesforce.com to manage client data and opportunities
12. Understanding and confidently presenting within the brand(s)
13. Developing opportunities with Key Account Directors
14. Supporting the development of inbound international business
15. Attending trade shows and client visits with clear objectives
16. Continuously developing industry knowledge and skills
17. Seeking opportunities outside the cluster to benefit all hotels
18. Organizing and attending networking events to promote the hotel
