Caretaker We are looking to recruit a Caretaker to join us as soon as possible. The role is Monday – Friday, working a split shift from 7.00am – 11.00am and then 2.30pm – 6.00pm all year round. We are looking for a reliable, proactive and hands on caretaker to join our friendly primary school team. This is a key role ensuring our school is safe, clean and welcoming for pupils, staff and visitors. Key Responsibilities: Open the school site each morning and ensure it is safe and ready for use. Carry out daily/weekly/monthly maintenance checks and minor repairs. Oversee cleanliness and ensure high standards are maintained. Support contractors/visitors on site and ensure safe working practices. Secure the site at the end of the day. Respond to maintenance issues as they arise. Maintain outdoor areas, including playgrounds and pathways. We are looking for someone who: Is practical, organised and able to work independently. Has experience in site maintenance, caretaking or a similar role (desired but not essential) Is trustworthy and committed to high standards of safety and cleanliness.
