This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a well-established accounting firm, supporting a varied client base across multiple sectors.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Processing end-to-end payroll for a portfolio of clients on a weekly, fortnightly and monthly basis</li><li>Ensuring compliance with current payroll legislation, including PAYE, National Insurance, and pension auto-enrolment</li><li>Managing starters, leavers, statutory payments, and RTI submissions</li><li>Handling payroll queries from clients and employees in a professional and timely manner</li><li>Maintaining accurate payroll records and documentation</li><li>Assisting with bookkeeping tasks, including data entry and reconciliations</li><li>Supporting the preparation of accounts for a range of clients</li></ul><h3>Skills & Experience</h3><ul><li>Previous payroll experience is strongly preferred</li><li>Working knowledge of payroll systems and HMRC requirements</li><li>Experience in bookkeeping and/or accounts preparation would be advantageous</li><li>Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy</li><li>Good organisational and time management skills</li><li>Excellent communication skills and a client-focused approach</li><li>Ability to work independently as well as part of a team</li></ul><h3>What We Offer</h3><ul><li>Competitive salary, commensurate with experience</li><li>Supportive and collaborative working environment</li><li>Opportunities for professional development and training</li><li>Flexible working arrangements (where applicable)</li></ul></div>
