We are passionate about creating a supportive, fun, and engaging learning experience for all children.

The Role:
We are looking for a dedicated, creative, and motivated Year 2 teacher to join our team immediately. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher or a newly qualified teacher (NQT) who is eager to make a real difference in the lives of young learners. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons, nurturing pupil development, and working closely with other staff to ensure the success and well-being of your class.

Key Responsibilities:

* Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons in line with the Year 2 curriculum.
* Create a positive and stimulating learning environment where children feel safe, valued, and motivated.
* Monitor and assess pupils' progress, providing feedback and support to ensure all children achieve their best.
* Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues, fostering a collaborative approach to learning and development.
* Implement effective classroom management strategies, promoting positive behaviour and respect.
* Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities and school events.
* Work as part of a team to develop and improve school practices, ensuring the best outcomes for pupils.

Requirements:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching in Key Stage 1, preferably Year 2.
* A good understanding of the national curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
* Strong communication and organisational skills.
* Passion for working with young children and supporting their learning journey.
* High expectations of yourself and your students, with a focus on raising standards and achievement.
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

What We Offer:

* A supportive, collaborative, and friendly team of colleagues.
* Opportunities for professional development and career progression.
* A well-resourced classroom and engaging learning environment.
* A focus on work-life balance and teacher well-being.
* Competitive salary and benefits package, including pension scheme.

If you are a passionate, dedicated teacher looking for an immediate start and an exciting opportunity to join a vibrant school community, we would love to hear from you.

To apply, please send your CV and a covering letter outlining your experience and why you would be a great fit for this position.
