Stopford House office base with requirement for regular presence in schools. 30 Hours, Part Time, Permanent.
Overview
We are looking for a Senior Adviser for Inclusion to join our experienced team, to provide additional support and guidance to our SENCOs in primary and nursery schools across Stockport.
Responsibilities
* Provide additional support and guidance to SENCOs in primary and nursery schools across Stockport.
* Support and guide the work of our SENCOs as they continue to develop the inclusive offers within our mainstream schools.
* Work closely with secondary counterpart within the service.
* Use expertise to support wider systems and services within the Local Authority to help Stockport fulfil the ambition that all children and young people experience high‑quality educational provision that meets their needs.
Qualifications
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Hold the mandatory SENCO qualification.
* Proven track record of working successfully as a SENCO in a mainstream school.
Additional Information
Successful applicant’s appointment will be subject to satisfactory pre‑employment clearances including a Disclosure and Barring Service check.
Funding and Sponsorship
Stockport Council holds a Visa sponsorship licence but this campaign does not currently qualify.
