Job Description
3. Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
4. Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
5. Perform reconciliations of accounts and resolve discrepancies.
6. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
7. Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
8. Provide financial insights and analysis to support decision-making.
9. Coordinate with internal and external auditors as required.
10. Assist with ad hoc financial projects and tasks as needed.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Financial Accountant should have:
11. A strong background in accounting or finance.
12. MUST have VAT knowledge (compliance, P11D).
13. Sage 100 experience is useful.
14. Proficiency in using accounting software and tools.
15. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
16. Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
17. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
18. Knowledge of financial regulations and best practices.
