LAC Tutor Wanted – Market Harbough | Support Vulnerable Young Learners Location: Market Harborough and surrounding areas Rate: £25–£30 per hour (DOE) Hours: Part-time / Flexible We are seeking a compassionate, experienced, and adaptable LAC Tutor to support Looked After Children (LAC) in Market Harborough and the surrounding areas. This rewarding role involves providing 1:1 tuition to children in care who may be outside mainstream education or require additional support to catch up. You will play a vital part in helping these young people achieve academic progress and rebuild their confidence in learning. About the Role: Deliver bespoke educational sessions (primarily in English and Maths) Support learners aged 5–18, across KS1 to KS4 (age and level depending) Sessions may take place in the home, school, or a neutral setting Complete brief reports tracking student progress Ideal Candidate Will Have: Experience working with vulnerable or at-risk young people Strong knowledge of the national curriculum (especially English and Maths) A teaching qualification (QTS/QTLS) or relevant tutoring experience An enhanced DBS certificate (or willing to obtain one) Excellent communication and organisational skills Why Join Us?
