About this opportunity (12 Months Fixed Term Contract)
Networks and Managed Services Delivery (NMSD) is responsible for the delivery of Network Products & Solutions, Network Roll-Out, Support & Repair, Network Optimization & Managed Services.
The Environment and Health and Safety Coordinator role is responsible for delivering advice and support, to ensure that Ericsson is achieving the highest possible standards on the projects in the UK and Ireland. Working with and supporting EHS team and wider business to deliver Ericsson EHS strategy and Ways of Working, bringing up to EHS Specialists when specialist EHS support is required.
The Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator is expected to utilise their skills to support maintenance of EHS systems, supervising EHS activities and data providing reports and trending data, for projects and regional teams to provide visibility within Ericsson NMSD and the wider Market Area Europe & Latin America (MELA) organisation, to support decision making and drive EHS performance.
In addition, as part of the role you will be expected to build and forge relationships with stakeholders to support the cascading and collation of EHS information and records, coordinating meetings and supporting risk management within Ericsson to drive continuous improvement.

What you will do
1. Promote environment, supporting the implementation of EHS strategy, encouraging and Promoting Safety Culture, coaching, enabling, promoting and encouraging safe working practices and behaviours promoting Target Zero Culture.
2. Support Risk Management and High-risk calls within organisation, maintaining risk resisters, bringing up significant issues to project risk registers.
3. To provide support to projects reviewing EHS CDM documentation, such as assisting with task specific risk assessments and reviewing of relevant construction phase health and safety plans.
4. Support governance for EHS software systems, Authorised service Providers (ASP), High risk Trackers, QPL, PICW registers and EHS action logs.
5. To support collation of monthly EHS reporting requirements for projects and UK&I, including those relevant to the annual MELA KPI’s.
6. Provide advice and mentorship to internal and external stakeholders, acting as point of escalation within EHS team
7. To support engagement with ASPs building relations collating and cascading EHS information supporting vendor management of ASPs in relation to EHS as per supplier and work lists, maintaining ASP EHS records and UK Passport scheme, providing point of escalation to EHS Specialists when required.
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
9. Provide document controls and SharePoint management of EHS project and NMSD records.
10. Provide EHS data to EHS SMEs, supporting dashboard development and analytics, to trend EHS data to drive continuous EHS improvement.
11. Establishing and maintaining good Internal and external relationships, influencing the EHS performance of ASP and EHS teams.
12. Support Accident and Incident Investigations and Promote and encourage reporting of incidents, near misses hazards and safety suggestions with ASPs and areas of influence.
13. Any other duties to support EHS management with project/region as determined by senior management.

22. Health and Safety qualification such as NEBOSH certificate
23. Telecoms industry or high-risk environment awareness including.
24. Awareness of hazards involved in construction.
25. Working knowledge of Power BI.
26. Local Market Knowledge
