The Role
As the Medical Device Engineer, you’ll:
- Undertake planned preventative maintenance, servicing, and calibration of medical devices.
- Respond to reactive call-outs, diagnosing and resolving mechanical and system faults.
- Install, commission, and validate new equipment on site.
- Provide on-site technical support and basic operational training to users.
- Plan and manage your weekly service schedule, liaising directly with customers.
You
To be successful in the role of Medical Device Engineer, you’ll bring:
- Demonstrable experience in a field-based service engineering role.
- Strong mechanical engineering background (essential).
- Good IT skills, including basic networking and system diagnostics.
- Professional and confident communication skills when working with clinical and technical staff.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet service requirements.
