This role plays a key part in supporting Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and cash recovery processes—helping ensure smooth financial operations and healthy cash flow.</p><p>This is an ideal “foot in the door” opportunity for someone at an early stage in their finance career who is keen to gain exposure to a broad range of accounting responsibilities, as well as for someone with a couple of years’ experience looking to further develop and expand their skill set.</p><h3>Accounts Payable (AP)</h3><ul><li>Process and code supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner</li><li>Match invoices to purchase orders and resolve discrepancies</li><li>Assist with payment runs and maintain transaction records</li><li>Reconcile supplier statements and handle queries professionally</li><li>Review employee expenses for compliance and process reimbursements</li></ul><h3>Accounts Receivable (AR)</h3><ul><li>Raise and issue customer invoices accurately</li><li>Record incoming payments and reconcile accounts</li><li>Monitor aged debt reports and follow up on overdue balances</li><li>Resolve billing queries and maintain strong client relationships</li></ul><h3>Cash Recovery</h3><ul><li>Proactively chase outstanding payments via phone and email</li><li>Support negotiation of payment plans where required</li><li>Track and report on recovery progress</li><li>Work with internal teams to resolve disputes impacting collections</li></ul><h3>General Finance Support</h3><ul><li>Assist with month-end and year-end processes</li><li>Support audits and reporting requirements</li><li>Provide ad hoc support to senior finance leadership</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>AAT Level 3 or 4 (or working towards), or a relevant degree</li><li>Ideally 1–2 years’ experience in a similar finance or accounts role (flexible for strong entry-level candidates)</li><li>Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)</li></ul></div>
