The developments within our Child Protection Team will ensure families are supported by one team and worker throughout the period where they require Social Work support. We have implemented Signs of Safety and Safe and Together and redesigned our key Children and Families paperwork utilising these models to assist practitioners to have the tools to work where at all possible in collaboration with families and their networks. We feel these best support change where child welfare/child protection worries are identified and enables workers to spend their time focused on relationships and working directly with families. We would like you to a have a sound knowledge and skill base in relation to understanding the complex issues that surround child protection work.
