Job Description
Our client, a leading manufacturer investing heavily in their factory over the next two years, is seeking an Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer to support their expanding team. The role involves minimizing downtime and supporting production through electrical and mechanical maintenance.
Responsibilities
1. Provide electrical and mechanical support and repairs for all production equipment and site services.
2. Maintain and repair machinery such as mixers, conveyors, automation systems, PLCs, SCADA, and robotics.
3. Assist with project work including new machine and production line installations.
4. Perform PPMs, fault finding, problem solving, and machine upgrades.
5. Conduct electrical fault finding on PLCs and other automation systems.
Requirements
* Strong electrical fault finding skills.
* Apprenticeship trained or a time-served engineer with mechanical and electrical qualifications.
* Experience in FMCG or packaging manufacturing environments.
* Proven ability in fault diagnosis and problem solving.
* Experience with project work and machinery installation.
* Ability to plan and schedule PPM work.
* Adherence to health and safety standards.
