<div><p><b>Location:</b> Cardiff or Bicester (Hybrid – 3 days in office)</p><p>We are looking for an innovative and collaborative statistician to join our team at HEOR. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in generating high-quality evidence and delivering impactful analytical insights across a range of projects.</p><p>As a Statistician, you will shape study design, apply advanced statistical techniques, and work closely with multidisciplinary teams and clients to deliver robust, meaningful analyses. Youll also contribute to developing others, share your expertise, and help continuously strengthen our analytical capability.</p><ul><li>Leading the selection of appropriate study designs and statistical methods</li><li>Delivering complex analyses, including regression, survival (time-to-event), and indirect treatment comparisons</li><li>Drafting and reviewing key study documents (e.g. protocols, statistical analysis plans, reports)</li><li>Advising on data exploration, analytical techniques, and interpretation of results</li><li>Managing multiple projects, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery</li><li>Collaborating closely with internal teams and clients to develop solutions and drive outcomes</li><li>Supporting proposal development and contributing to new business opportunities</li><li>Mentoring and coaching colleagues, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment</li><li>Contributing to scientific outputs, including reports, presentations, and publications</li><li>Maintaining and promoting best practices, processes, and quality standards</li></ul><p><b>Skills and experience</b></p><ul><li>Strong statistical expertise with experience applying a range of analytical methods (e.g. regression, survival analysis, indirect comparisons)</li><li>Experience contributing to research design and statistical analysis plans</li><li>Experience working on analyses relevant to health technology assessment ("HTA") and/or healthcare decision-making</li><li>Proficiency in data cleaning, processing, and statistical analysis using R</li><li>Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly</li><li>Experience working collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams and engaging with stakeholders</li></ul><p>Competitive compensation and benefits package, including:</p><ul><li>A ‘learning’ culture focused on personal development and supported by study bursaries</li><li>Workplace pension scheme</li><li>Range of high street, supermarket, restaurant, gym membership, holiday and entertainment discounts via Pluxee</li><li>Employee assistance programme</li><li>Employees are given an additional day of leave for: their wedding and moving house</li><li>Annual leave purchase scheme of up to 10 additional days’ leave per year</li></ul><p>If you would like to request any reasonable adjustment, for any part of the recruitment process (including application), please let us know by emailing careers@heor.co.uk</p></div>
