Paralegal – Commercial Property Development
The Commercial Property team, part of the IS&M business unit, works on a wide range of property transactions for development projects such as care homes, student accommodation, leisure establishments and office, warehouse and retail leases. The team is based in Leicester and is looking for an ambitious individual to join at paralegal level.
Responsibilities
* Provide paralegal support to the team.
* Liaise with clients, handling queries and enquiries where appropriate.
* Be responsible for and conduct various aspects of transactions.
* Draft and produce forms and transactional documentation and conduct some transactions from start to finish, with support from other team members.
* Work with other team members on larger projects.
Requirements
* 6 months’ previous experience in a legal property team preferred.
* Experience using Land Registry, HMRC, search providers, Companies House and indemnity insurance websites and ability to draft basic forms and documents.
* Working knowledge at a basic level of terminology and documents used in property transactions.
