Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Mon–Fri
Contract: Permanent, Term-Time only (There may be scope for a full-time contract (52 weeks); please get in touch to discuss.)
Salary: Up to £53,200 FTE DOE
CPD: A £2,000 training allowance in the first year to support role-specific training tailored to your requirements.
About the role
We currently have an opportunity for a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist to join our Clinical Wellbeing team. The post holder will work collaboratively to deliver bespoke assessment and intervention plans for our pupils. You will hold a Speech and Language therapy caseload and, with the support of our Clinical Team, contribute to staff training, consultation and reflective practice. The role suits a resilient and enthusiastic individual with a therapeutic approach, the ability to make decisions, and the capacity to manage their own workload. Essential Criteria
* Speech and Language Therapy degree
* Registered with HCPC and RCSLT or RCOT
* A minimum of 5+ years of practicing experience as a SaLT in a similar setting with diverse and complex communication needs
* Experience in multidisciplinary working and some responsibility for service and team performance
* Clear and concise clinical and research reporting
* Experience in providing clinical supervision
* Experience of multi-professional teams or services within the designated specialty
