Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging Functional Skills English and/or Maths sessions
Support learners at Entry Level to Level 2
Track learner progress and maintain accurate records
Prepare learners for assessments and exams
Adapt teaching methods to meet individual learning needs
Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
Requirements
Relevant teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent)
Functional Skills English and/or Maths at Level 2 or above
Experience delivering Functional Skills or similar provision
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to motivate and support diverse learners
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
Desirable
Experience working with adults, apprentices, or learners with additional needs
Assessor or IQA qualifications
Familiarity with exam board requirements
