An opportunity has arisen within South Central Ambulance Service (SCAS) for a Team Leader within our Patient Transport Service (PTS). This role will be based in Camberley Resource Centre
Our Patient Transport Service is a pivotal role within SCAS, providing a safe and efficient transport of patients to and from healthcare settings and their home.
As a Team Leader you will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision and management of a team of Ambulance Care Assistants (ACAs) that work on the Patient Transport Service. This will involve the management of personnel, monitoring performance management, sickness and annual leave following relevant HR Policies and Procedures. You will be familiar with and adhere to service plans policies, procedures and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
In addition, you will need to resolve any localised fleet issues and maintain stations in prepared readiness and for auditing.
Main duties of the job
The post holders will provide leadership and management direction to the operational teams of ACAs. You will work closely with the Senior Operations Manager to ensure that service delivery maintains the standards required as per our contractual arrangements and Service Level Agreements.
The successful candidate will be an ambassador for the Trust, and in particular PTS, assisting in the development of close working relationships with our users.

12. Business administration and/or Management or qualification to level 4 or proven equivalent people management experience (must be willing to attain relevant qualification if not held).
13. Full UK manual Driving Licence - to C1 category (must have at least provisional C1 at point of application and be willing to complete full C1)
14. Full UK manual Driving Licence with no more than 3 points for speeding (any offence relating to drink/drugs on the licence will be rejected)
